Nish Wadada

Greetings Listeners! A New radio show this thursday !

We’ll have the pleasure to welcome the great singer Nish Wadada!!

Nish Wadada is a capeverdean descendent singer and songwriter who was born and raised in Rotterdam, Holland. Coming from an ambient of zouk music where she sang for 15 years, she entered the world of reggae in 2004 as a backing vocalist of a reggae band called ‘Delidel Touch’. 3 years later, she left Europe in search of her roots. So she moved to her mother and fatherland, the Islands of Cape Verde on the west coast of Mama Africa in 2007. During her 2014 summer tour…she performed @ Europe´s biggest festivals (Dub Camp, Exit Festival, Dour Festival, Garance Reggae Festival, Rototom Sunsplash, ReggaeBus Festival & others…) In 2015 she released a Roots Reggae album called ‘Jah Calling’ with the producers of Microkosmo-Music in Paris, which was nominated best roots reggae album 2016 by the ‘Victoire du reggae’ contest in France…also in 2015 she released a Dub EP called ‘Queens & Kings’ with creator Delmighty Sounds and 4 vynils with labels like King shiloh Majestic Music, Salomon Heritage, I-Skaners & the Reggae by Bus project.

We’ll speak with her and she we’ll sing on the Jokah Jeff’s selection!
But first we’ll play some freshes releases from Dubble, Michael Exodus, Vibronics, Higher regions and Unlisted Fanatic!

Greetings Listeners! A New radio show this thursday !

We’ll have Hartmann & Rose from 54 as special guest tonight!!
artmann & The Rose is a young, motivated selecta’duo from 54Kolaktiv. Selecting some fine roots rock reggae / dubwised tunes for your listening pleasure. They started selecting vinyls around december 2014, and it was around that time they found their purpose in life.

The tunes they select are always with a message behind it, because conscious music will free the world from mental slavery.
Even if they mostly play roots music, by the end of a set they surely love it to play some steppaz style, just to keep everybody hot and dancing.So tune up for a unique and sweet strictly vinyl selection by Hartmann & The Rose.

As usual, we’ll make a short interview before the dj set!

New Stricktly dub record

Greetings Listeners! A New radio show this thursday !

We’ll spread a lot of new tunes/releases from dubmakers and labels from all over the world. The first one is from Italia with the last album of Mr dill lion warriah called music is a mission. We’ll play the two latests releases of the new label of Dub livity called Skank O oclock. They worked with Higher Meditation, Odessa and Yehoud I. We won’t forget these tow nice 7inch coming out Estonia. Big Up Stricktly DUb Records for this nice work with Sista Sherin, Stikki Tantafari and RebbelSteppa. Of course, we’ll play the last release of Moa Anbessa and we’ll play again this nice collaboration between Wish Nadada, Mad Codiouf and Humble Brother called simple minds.

In the second part of the show, we’ll play a Reggae Dub selection mixed Joka Jeff ! We’ll play some dubplates from beljam and europe… Dub it!

Be carrefull cause we’ll have some tickets to give for the upcoming Au Quai Dub#4 dance with RDH!

Lost in dub

We are really happy to be back in the studio after one month without radio show.

It’s gonna be a special show divided in three parts. First of all, we’ll listen the third episode of Jamma Dim’s time with a roots reggae music selection from Mayotte.
Secondly, we’ll play a couple of tunes of our upcomping compilation called lost in dub#2… And finally, we’ll make a dj set stricktly with roots reggae and uk dub steppers vynils.

Dubrising is a crew from Brugges including selectors, dubmakers, singers and soundmens. Tey builded their own and clean soundsystem which is powering a lot of differents dances.

Greetings Listeners! A New radio show this thursday !

As you certainly know, Blood Shanti will perform this saturday in Brugges at the Dub Revoltion dance. So we’ll make a little focus about that with an interview recorded by Seb from the Soul Driver radio show. We’ll also spread a lot of new tunes/releases from dubmakers and labels from all over the world. The first one is from Emana Records (Lille). They releasead a 12inch in collaboration with Mr Zebre, Si I leen, Councious Tribe and many more artists. We’ll play the three latests releases from Vibronics on Scoops Records . He worked with Councious Sounds & Russ Disciples inna King Tubby style! We won’t forget the upcoming 7inch from Dub Invasion records (Italia) : a nice combination between Wish Nadada, Mad Codiouf and Humble Brother. And of course, we’ll play the last release from Rootikal Attack. This one is featuring Mr Zebre again and El Fata. We’ll listen some tunes from a young dubmaker called Alex Hifi as well!
