New Cultural Warriors

New Reservoir DubCast!

The show was recorded the 23 may 2013 in the Panik’s studio. As usual, you can listen the first part which we are speaking in french. There’s a focus about the brand new release from the rainbow studio: Jah Free ft. Sista Samiah (Rasta in the heart) and an interview with the uk singer Solo Banton recorded at Brussels Reggae Festival.

Twinkle Brothers

New radio show this thursday!

For the last show with Jamma Dim in the studio, we’ll have the happiness to share with you an interview with the legendary band Twinkle Brothers, recorded at VK in april 2013.  As every show, we’ll bring our best selection with some classic reggae tunes and some brand new dub releases! We’ll play a tune from the new Weeding Dub‘s 10inch released on Control Tower Record.

Etant Programmé au Bruxelles Reggae Festival, c’est tout naturellement que nous avons invité le dj & producteur anversois pour la deuxième fois dans les studios. Martin « Unlisted Fanatic » vous propose un mix composé de sa collection de disques et de quelques une des productions.  Il en a profité pour discuter avec Dim de son actualité, de son label « Sir Runnin Records » et du live qu’il allait produire sur scène avec Saimn I, Collieman & the Moonshine Horns.

New Control Tower

Nouveau Dubcast!

Cette émission était consacrée au Brussels Reggae Festival qui se tenait les 12&13 avril 2013 au B.E.B. Nous avions fait le point sur les artistes présents dans la première partie d’émission ainsi qu’un petit set dans la seconde partie d’émission comprenant une sélection de Joka Jeff et de Mat Mighty Patch.

Gros plan dans ce mix sur quelques artistes programmés au BRF ainsi que sur des nouvelles galettes toutes fraiches (Salomon Heritage, Control Tower,…)

New Iroko

Nouvelle émission ce jeudi 27 juin :

Au menu de ce soir, une interview avec Brain Damage, qui a été réalisée par Dim lorsque le dubmaker français s’était produit au VK. Nous viendrons également avec une sélection bien fournie d’artistes qui se produiront au Seasplash en Croatie mais aussi à la stand Firm de ce samedi à Courtrai qui accueillera l’anglais Kibir La Amlack. Nous aurons également quelques nouveautés avec les nouveaux Storm&Break, 176 Sounds records, LionRoots Records avec des productions de Crucial Alphonso et… Un gros focus sur le label Iroko qui fait partie de Burning Bush. Ce label vient de sortir quelques sorties très intéressantes avec notamment Earl 16 et Winston Jarret.

Solo Banton

Nouvelle interview en podcast avec Solo Banton!

Cette fois-ci, c’est au Brussels Reggae Festival que notre micro s’est arrêté. Le chanteur anglais s’est produit sur la dub stage du festival. Solo Banton est un des chanteurs les plus en vue de la scène reggae actuelle et est capable de chanter sur des style complètement différents : dancehall, dubstep, drum&bass et bien sûr reggae!

C’est une première, c’est un autre artiste qui se prend au jeu du journaliste puisque Solo a répondu aux questions de Lion Paw (Cultural Warriors). C’était l’occasion pour ce dernier de mieux connaitre Solo puisque c’était la première fois qu’ils jouaient ensemble. Solo nous y parle entre autre de son backgroud musical et de Dubkasm avec qui il se produit souvent. Portrait!
