Moa Anbessa

Follow the link and listen our interview with Moa Anbessa, the italian soundystem and recordlabel. Joka Jeff met them in Ostende in the beggining of 2015 at a Black Pearl’s dance. They spoke to us about their career, the reggae-dub scene and about their famous release « watch dem ».

Moa Anbessa is a collective of experienced musicians and singers, a roots/dub reggae sound system and a recording studio based in Venice (Italy) and active since 2001 but in other forms since the early nineties. Moa Anbessa actually runs the « Venice Dub Club » roots and culture monthly session and is regularly having sessions around Italy and Europe. Moa Anbessa Studio unceasingly creates dubplate versions and exclusive music for some of the biggest international producers and sound systems

Jah Frequency

Greetings dub lovers!

We are pleased to welcome tonight Jah Frequency, from Ghent City! He’s a dj and he’s running his own radio show! We’ll make a short interview to speak with him about his last musical adventures… And in the second part of the show, he will play a special selection. New Dubass

We’ll spread an interview with the italian soundsystem called Moa Anbessa, interviewed by Joka Jeff at Black Pearl’s dance a few weeks ago. Dj Plaido (from Brussels)

Greetings dub addict, here is a new radio show tonight!

We are pleased to welcome our friend DJ Plaido from Brussels City! He’s a versatile dj and he’s playing music since a long time ago. He’s a part of SDP Crew and of course he’s coming tonight with his bag of vynils for a long dj set of reggae music. We’ll make before a short interview with him to speak about his musical adventure.
We’ll make also a long focus on « La face B » and « La triple dose » cause they are making a tour in Belgium in the following weeks! DJ Plaido will play alongside them the 7th of march at « Rue des ateliers » in Brussels

Mad Codiouf

New show tonight ! We are pleased to welcome Mad Codiouf, a bejam dubmaker. Leading the M.A.D. sound System With B-Noize and Nerlock, Mad Codiouf is a “reggae activist”, reggae scene in which he plays since 2001. He started with Tribal poursuite, then he joined Jahwed Sound, who with he won the “Beljam cup Clash” in 2011, after a long time working in his studio and a lot of dubplates with famous names, such as Gregory Isaacs, Barrington Leviy, Wayne Smith, Michael Prophet, Bounty Killer, Capleton, Sizzla…
After his cooperation with the O.B.F. Sound system over those past few years, his vision of dub music is at a turning point, then he decided to focus on a kind of “gloomy dubwize” with heavy bass from soundsystem.

Tonight, we’ll speak with him about his production and obvisouly about his first vynil release on Digipirate. He will bring you a proper selection, so be carrefull because it’s gonna be rough and tuff!

Forward Fever release

Vibronics

New podcast!

Follow the link and listen our interview with Vibronics, the dub producer, outta UK. We met him in Brussels  when he performed with Brain Damage at Magasin 4 in october 2013.  Vibronics created Scoops Records and is involved in the dub scene since many years ago. He spoke to us about his career, the dub scene and of course about his collaboration with Brain Damage.
