FRF 2014 – Madagascar

New podcast!

Follow the link and listen to our Radiophonic Focus about the Fianar Reggae Festival 2014, in Fianarantsoa, Madagascar. Mighty Mat went during the last edition on this big island in the middle of the indian ocean to meet and interview some malagasy artists… Back in Belgium, he decided to present a radio documentary about the festival and the malagasy reggae scene! Many big vibes are coming from this country far away, and this is a real discovery about some artists living and performing there ! Reggae is everywhere, and in Madagascar for sure, it’s a real mix between Roots and traditional Malagasy music. In this focus, you’ll meet and listen to many malagasy artists & activists : Christian (from Reggasy band/organisator), Valéry (organisator), Lolo Jah-nary (artist FRF), William le Rasta (artist FRF), Sammy (from Tarika Sammy band – artist FRF), Raya (artist FRF), Fony & Naïna (from Eka Zaho band), …

La Face B

Hello dub lovers!

Our Magazine is changing tonight and become a special talk-show with guests from France : « La face B » and « Triple dose » ! They’re actually on tour across Belgium and it’s a holy time to meet them and discover what they’re doing! You know already the musical vibrations from the both since our passed selecta during the last radio show with Dj Plaido… But for this time, they will stand live & direct in our Panik Studio, to give us an interview and to speak about their love of music… It will be the occasion to listen original live dub tracks from « La Face B » and to appreciate a fine Bass Stepper & Jungle selection from « Triple Dose »!

As usual, we will select and play some fresh releases from Reggae and Dub labels all around the world! Tonight you will listen to the new Zion Train‘s album, future releases from Dawa Hi-fi and Welders Hi-fi on ODG netlabel, and more..!

Greetings dub lovers!

The first 2015’s show comes tonight !  We are pleased to welcome again our friends from The ROOTS CORNER Sound, from Brussels City! We’ll make a short interview to speak with them about their last musical adventures… And in the second part of the show, they will play a special New Year’s selection from the vinyls collection of Selectas Jah Piet and Fleo. As on stage, the belgian MC Singer Babbajah will brisk up the session with his conscious & rasta lyrics!

ACKBOO Interview!

A New radio show this thursday !

We’ll spread an interview with Ackboo, a french dubmaker interviewed by Mighty Mat at the Dub Fest‘s second edition, in Gourgé (FR).

Other Good News! We got some new CD’s from Panda Dub – « Antilogy », and Mayd Hubb Meets Joe Pilgrim – « Mellowmoon » to offer during the show, so stay tuned to get one..!

Next part of the show, we’ll make a little focus on a great reggae artist was passed the way this last days, John Holt! We’ll play also some fresh releases from, the belgian producer Mad Codiouf, the new O.B.F.‘s album, the record label Inspirational Sound, and many more…!

And to conclude the show, a Reggae Dub session mixed by ourselves, Joka Jeff and Mighty Mat at the controls, Ichman pon the mic! Dub it!

A New radio show this thursday !

We’ll spread an interview with Mystical Faya , a young reggae live band from France we interviewed at the last Summer Vibration Festival in Alsace.

Next part of the show, we’ll play some fresh & international releases as well. For this month, the first release from the new belgian record label Youth & Truth Music, driven by our breddas Dub fi Youth, is a special combination with Danny Red, Idren Natural, Forward Fever and Jamma Dim! Rasta Vibes! We’ll continue with the brand new Mahom Dub‘s album called The Skankin’Cat, from Italy Moa Anbessa and his new future released vinyl featuring Prince David & Jules I, and other wicked stuff from different labels like Dubophonic, Nucleus Roots, and more…

FRF2014 – Madagascar

Greetings !

A new Reservoir Dub radio show tonight with Joka Jeff, Ichman, Mighty Mat and our friend N-Tone in the studio!

In the First time, we will begin with a special Focus on a Reggae Festival based in Fianarantsoa, in Madagascar! Mighty Mat went during the last edition in that place to interview some malagasy artists and coming back to present a little radio documentary about the festival and the malagasy reggae scene! Many big vibes are coming from this country far away, and this is a real discovery about some artists living and performing there !

In the second part, we ll welcome our bredda N-Tone dub for a wicked live mix in our studios!

Summer Vibration Fest
