High Tone

Follow the link and listen to our interview with High Tone, the famous live dub band from France. Mighty Mat met Dino, the High Tone’s drummer at the Summer Vibration Festival 2014 in Sélestat, Alsace FR, and we are proud to share a nice interview about the musical actuality of this essential band who’s playing a proper urban dub style. High Tone, one of the pioneer of the French Dub scene, is not dead and presents their future projects, from new albums to connections & collaborations with some lyrical artists…

Channel One

Channel One Sound System are one of the world’s best known dub reggae sound systems. Running for over 30 years, Channel One built up their reputation as one of the main sound systems at Notting Hill Carnival, now they play out every weekend all over the UK and Europe. Channel One is made up of selector Mikey Dread playing roots reggae and consious steppas, the sound is completed by MC Ras Kayleb.

Moa Anbessa

Follow the link and listen our interview with Moa Anbessa, the italian soundystem and recordlabel. Joka Jeff met them in Ostende in the beggining of 2015 at a Black Pearl’s dance. They spoke to us about their career, the reggae-dub scene and about their famous release « watch dem ».

Moa Anbessa is a collective of experienced musicians and singers, a roots/dub reggae sound system and a recording studio based in Venice (Italy) and active since 2001 but in other forms since the early nineties. Moa Anbessa actually runs the « Venice Dub Club » roots and culture monthly session and is regularly having sessions around Italy and Europe. Moa Anbessa Studio unceasingly creates dubplate versions and exclusive music for some of the biggest international producers and sound systems

Jah Frequency

Greetings dub lovers!

We are pleased to welcome tonight Jah Frequency, from Ghent City! He’s a dj and he’s running his own radio show! We’ll make a short interview to speak with him about his last musical adventures… And in the second part of the show, he will play a special selection. New Dubass

We’ll spread an interview with the italian soundsystem called Moa Anbessa, interviewed by Joka Jeff at Black Pearl’s dance a few weeks ago. We’ll play also some tunes from the fresh LP from Barbes D called « green walk dub » and of course some other fresh releases like the lastests record from Rootical Attack with Alex Sc Hifi and Izyah Davis, the new vynil from Dubass records – special tribute to Nelson Mandela with Sista Maria, Disciples and Alpha Steppa and others freshs releases like I-Kong…

And to conclude the show, a Reggae Dub session mixed by ourselves, Joka Jeff Ichman pon the mic! Dub it!

Gamma Sound NEW release!

Greetings !

New show tonight ! We are pleased to welcome again our friends Gamma Sound in the Panik Studio! If you listening to Reservoir Dub since long time, you have to know Hi-Fif and N-Tone, the two members of one of the biggest sound system in Brussels town. Today we’ll speak with them about their last productions and obviously about their first 10 inch vinyl release!!! The artist’s name on this future release is unknown till tonight! You ll get the chance to listen to a short preview of this Gamma new release! BOOOM!

Further, the Reservoir Dub crew is proud to announce an other release soon on his netlabel!!! This new release come again from the Gamma Sound crew, this is the new digital LP of N-Tone, called « Aera Numia » !!! A likkle preview is also provided for tonight! Enjoy!

In the second part, Gamma will play a proper selection mixed with their own records collection and also their own productions. Dub it!

FRF 2014 – Madagascar

Follow the link and listen to our Radiophonic Focus about the Fianar Reggae Festival 2014, in Fianarantsoa, Madagascar. Mighty Mat went during the last edition on this big island in the middle of the indian ocean to meet and interview some malagasy artists… Back in Belgium, he decided to present a radio documentary about the festival and the malagasy reggae scene!
